How do I apply spam filtering to incoming email?

For any domain hosted on our cPanel platform spam filtering at the server is controlled by the user via the tools available in the cPanel for this purpose

- Spam Filters (formerly 'Apache SpamAssassin', although the newly named tool still uses this software)
- Global Email Filters (formerly 'Account Level Filtering')
- Email Filters (formerly 'User Level Filtering')

Please note that if you are using an email client program such as Outlook, Thunderbird or Mac Mail these programs will have their own Junk/Spam filters as well. Please consult the FAQ/Help for the client program itself for assistance configuring filters at the client-level.
